The 3 Step method to success
Stock market investment and trading is becoming a fast way to make money. If done correctly, you can make huge profits without too much effort. Knowing how the market works and what to look out for is extremely important, but it can be very rewarding. Here are a few tips on how to begin trading on the stock markets:
1. Start on a simulator
Simulators are a no risk tool to help you get the gist of the stock market without losing any money. They can be downloaded as apps, and can ease you into the world of trading.
2. Learn and understand the terminology
The world of stock trading is full of jargon and terms that you will need to get to know if you are to make any headway in the business. Here are a few of the terms you may come across:
Penny Stocks : A penny stock trades away from the major markets at a lower price, and are considered to be high risk. They trade through the OTC bulletin board and pink sheets. These shares trade at a much lower price than traditional stocks.
Forex : This is another name for the Foreign Exchange market. It involves exchanging one currency for another, with high emphasis on exchange rates. The Forex is the largest market in the world, exceeding $5 trillion ever day.
Binary options : Binary options are split into two main types – cash or nothing, which pays a fixed monetary amount if the option expires, and asset or nothing, which pays the value of the underlying security. Binary options are considered to be risky and highly fraudulent if care is not taken.
Trading Master plan : this is a stock market trading training course available to buy online, giving you ideas and help on how to best make money on the stock market, and strategies to avoid losses. It was devised by Dave Gagne.
Trend Indicators : Trend indicators are ways of identifying strong trends in the global markets, thus reducing risk and increasing your potential for profit. The Average Directional Index (ADX) is an example of a trade indicator, and is used to determine when price is strongly trending.
MT4 : Meta Trader 4, or MT4, is an electronic stock market trading device used by speculative traders in foreign exchange. It provides brokers with real time prices using algorithm trading.
3. Do your research
Knowing which companies are trading well, and keeping an eye on the markets will ensure your investments are working as hard for you as they can. Remember that the stock market is volatile and risky, but the rewards are there if you put the effort in.
By learning and understanding before you take the plunge, you’re sure to have more success on the stock market.
